Dave came into Leather in the late 80's with a motorcycle club in Texas. In the late 90's he came out into the public scene in Austin by joining the Austin chapter of NLA. After serving on the board of NLA-Austin for a few years, and a short time on the board of NLA-I, he stepped down from formal leadership and started traveling around the state bringing educational sessions to smaller clubs that did not have access to local resources. After spending the better part of a decade helping organize clubs and assisting in the development of local and regional educational programs, he decided to go into semi-retirement and focus on the things he loves most, teaching and riding his motorcycles.
